With regard to in person training and covid safety measures. We have held 3 skills weeks since all this has started under the health and safety guidelines of Idaho. For those classes and future ones under covid guidelines we will have our tables set up in a manner where everyone will be distanced appropriately. We are not currently requiring students to wear masks during the skills training, but have masks and sanitizer available for those who would like them. We also have a touchless thermometer and will be checking temperatures every morning to monitor anyone getting sick and not realizing it. We are asking anyone that is in recent contact with anyone with covid to delay their skills week and to come at another time. Thus far there are positive covid tests in this region, but overall we are talking about fractions of percentages of the total population. All of the instructors are in the fire service and have strict procedures within their departments so we are used to the safety guidelines.
