The average student takes between 4 to 6 months to complete the online work if they are working full time and doing our course on the side. If you are doing the course full time it can be completed in 2-3 months.

If you choose the in person skills week in Post Falls Idaho, the skills training and testing is the culminating event and takes place at our training facility. The skills week starts on a Sunday and ends on Thursday. The practical exam is given throughout the skills week and then the student is given permission to take the NREMT cognitive exam at a PearsonVue testing center near their home after returning from the skills week. The EMT course cost is $3995 and this includes the online classroom, textbook and workbook, extra required certifications including AHA CPR, insurance for patient observations, food and lodging at skills week, shuttle to and from the Spokane WA airport to the academy, equipment, uniform, first time testing fees for both the practical and the computer exams, and our test preparation at to help you prepare for the NREMT computer exam.

If you have chosen the Remote course, we will ship you equipment and web cameras to fulfill the hands on training via web cam in the comfort of your own home. You will also be assessed for your Psychomotor exam via webcam upon mastering the skills. After you have completed this step you will be given permission to take the NREMT Cognitive (computer) exam to become NREMT Certified. The cost of this course is $3495 with equipment and $2995 without equipment.
